In a smart factory, molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) can be used to monitor and manage the power usage and operating costs of large machinery. As with most electronic/electromechanical equipment, Moulded Case Circuit Breakers rely on switches to provide a number of important functions, including setting the main parameters (trip current and hysteresis time) and acting as auxiliary switches to carry out functions when the Moulded Case Circuit Breaker trips.
